It seems some people in Greenwich will not let a sensitive issue rest in peace.
Nearly eight years after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, residents are arguing over which victims should be listed on a memorial planned for the town.
That memorial is set to be dedicated next month. Mary Ann Morrison, head of the Greenwich Chamber of Commerce, has said it is only for people with a direct connection to Greenwich. Others disagree, including some town officials and victims' relatives.
Gregory Wachtler is one of those victims, he was killed at the World Trade Center and is buried next to his grandparents in Greenwich but never technically lived in town. His mother, Nasima Wachtler, is fighting to have his name included on the memorial because she said Greenwich is home to her son's soul.
The 2001 terrorist attacks killed 16 Greenwich residents and several others with ties to the town.
