Lawyer Didn't Act Like a “Few Good Men,” Cops Say

Tom Cruise portrayed Walter Bansley IV’s dad in "A Few Good Men," but the younger Bansley is accused of not acting like a good man at MGM Grand Casino.

Bansley, a New Haven lawyer, is accused of breaking casino rules by taking his bet off the craps table on Wednesday night, then refusing to show his identification. When authorities told him to leave the gaming floor, he refused, police said.

But the most ungentlemanly behavior he is accused of happened after cops detained him. Bansley urinated on the floor outside his holding cell, police said.

Bansley posted $500 bail and will be arraigned on larceny and other charges on Sept. 17 in New London Superior Court. He didn't immediately return a phone message from the Associated Press on Thursday morning.

Walter works at a family law firm with his dad – Walter Bansley III – and his sister.

Tom Cruise plays Lt. Daniel Kafee in the film, a character Aaron Sorkin based on Walter Bansley III, who was the military lawyer.
