A Glastonbury mother's Black Friday bargain hunt was interrupted by an arrest.
Police say Devi Parakulam-Krishnamoo left her 7-year-old boy and 2-year-old daughter alone in the car around 1:00 am at an East Windsor Wal-Mart.
She is charged with two counts of leaving a child unsupervised in a public place.
According to police, Parakulam-Krishnamoo told them she discovered her husband left his cell phone in the car, and went into the store to give it to him.
Officers on the scene say the car, and the children, were left alone for at least 30 minutes with the vehicle running and doors unlocked.
Parakulam-Krishnamoo was released on a $5,000 bond. She is due in court on December 7th. The Department of Children and Families has been notified of the incident.
