One person was killed and two other people were injured in a head-on crash on Flanders Road in East Lyme on Saturday night.
Police said the crash happened around 11 p.m. and the driver of one of the cars, 35-year-old Chad Ebersole, of Niantic, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in that car, 21-year-old Lily Chalifour, of Niantic, and the driver of the other car, 29-year-old Travis Gauvin, of Norwich, were both flown by LifeStar helicopter to Hartford Hospital, police said. Their conditions have not been released.
