Sources tell NBC Connecticut that Bernie Sanders will be in Hartford on Monday.
No other details about the event were immediatly released.
The city of New Haven also told NBC Connecticut that the city has issued a permit for the Sanders campaign for Sunday evening, a spokesperson for the city said. The campaign has not confirmed an event.
The Democratic presidential candidate's visit will follow a slew of campaign stops happening in the state.
Hillary Clinton held a discussion on gun violence in Hartford on Thursday and is expected to speak in Bridgeport on Sunday. Republican candidates Donald Trump will be in Waterbury and Bridegport on Saturday and John Kaisch will rally in Glastonbury on Friday.
All these candidates are making attempts to grab delegates in this close race as Connecticut's primaries are approaching on April 26.
