New London police are investigating after a man was found dead in a portable bathroom at McDonald Park Saturday morning.
Police said they were called to the park at Connecticut Avenue and McDonald Street around 8:30 a.m. for a report of a possible deceased person inside a “Porta John.” When they arrived they found a male victim, estimated to be in his late 20s or early 30s, dead inside.
The victim has not been positively identified at this time, police said. There were no obvious signs of trauma, and an autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of death.
