A man's body was found in Colt Park in Hartford on Friday morning, police said, and police are investigating it as a possible homicide.
A man who was walking through the park on his way to work found the body on the ground around 6 a.m. near Maseek Street and Hendricxsen Avenue. Emergency Medical Service personnel responded and pronounced the man dead at 6:22 a.m.
The victim had blood on the head, the mother-in-law of the man who found him victim said. There was a bottle nearby.
Police are calling the death untimely. The man's name has not yet been released.
