A car caught fire in a garage attached to a Southington home Saturday afternoon.
Southington firefighters arrived at 345 Winding Ridge Road at 3:45 p.m. and discovered smoke and flames coming from a closed garage door.
The fire was contained to the car and didn't spread to the home, fire officials said.
The home had smoke damage, but none of the residents were displaced and no one was injured.
