Death by cutting injuries is how the medical examiner has ruled the death of a Thomaston woman.
On Tuesday, Erisa De Matteo, 32, fell into a glass-topped coffee table, breaking the glass at her Hickory Hill Road, The Waterbury Republican-American reports.
Thomaston police are trying to determine how De Matteo, described as a petite woman, broke the table and what caused her to fall. They also want to know if she was alone when she fell.
