A 22-year-old Windsor man who was pulled from Millers Pond in Durham on Monday has died.
The state Department of Environmental Protection has identified the man as Nicholas Wint.
Wint was swimming in the pond on Monday evening when he went under, according to the DEEP.
Divers pulled him from the water and he was taken to Middlesex Hospital in Middletown, but Lifestar then brought him to Hartford Hospital, where he died early Tuesday morning.
DEEP is investigating.
Millers Pond, a state park made up of a 30-acre pond and 170 acres of wooded land, has been the scene of several swimming accidents.
Richard Bland, 21, of West Haven, drowned there on July 6, 2011.
