Police are investigating the death of a 53-year-old Naugatuck man who was found unresponsive in the Route 8 commuter lot at exit 29 in Waterbury on Wednesday morning, but said there is no criminal aspect to his death.
State troopers responded to the lot at 9:15 a.m. after receiving reports of an unconscious man in a car and Joseph Carlson was pronounced dead at the scene.
The office of the chief medical examiner will determine the cause of his death.
