Police have responded to the Lordship section of Stratford after the body of a woman was found on a beach on Monday morning.
Police said the call came in at 9:30 a.m. and the body of a woman, believed to be between 30 and 50, washed up on shore.
The medical examiner is at the scene.
Officials said it did not appear the woman was swimming.
