Wolcott police are searching for the man who tried to burglarize a home on Woodtick Road on Tuesday.
Police responded to a residential alarm at 3 p.m. and learned that a man had broken into the house, but ran away empty-handed, when the alarm went off.
A surveillance camera captured images of the intruder, who appears to be in his early- to mid-20s and around 160 pounds.
He has a tattoo on his right forearm and was in a mid-size silver car before going into the house.
