Police responded to a crash involving a school bus from Emmett O'Brien Technical High School on Main and North Main in Ansonia.
The bus was part of what appeared to be a chain reaction crash with two cars. The bus was struck from behind.
Fourteen students from Emmett O'Brien Technical High School in Ansonia were on the bus, according to the school's principal.
Some of the students were taken to the hospital as a precaution to be checked out.
Police roped off the scene and North Main and State streets were closed for a time.
