One man is is critical condition after a serious two-car crash on Wolcott Road in Bristol on Saturday night.
Police said David Kozikowski, 56, of Wolcott, was heading south on Wolcott Road at 7:37 p.m. when he veered over the center line and hit a car head-on that was coming from the other direction near Indian Trail.
When police arrived at the crash site, they discovered both drivers were seriously injured.
Kozikowski was transported to Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford and later brought to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where he is listed in serious condition.
The other driver was taken to Waterbury Hospital and has been released.
No one else was in either car, which were both heavily damaged and towed from the scene.
Wolcott Road remained closed for about five hours as police investigated.
