A travel ban is over as of 2 p.m. and the governor as well as state police said people abided by it. Should anyone have violated the ban, they could have been fined for being out on the roads.
The traffic ban went into effect from 9 p.m. on Monday and ended at 2 p.m.
Only emergency personnel were allowed on the roads during the travel ban. Anyone else could have been be fined $92 for being out when they should be off the roads.
Police said they would issue a fine to anyone other than an essential employee, such as a first responders or doctor reporting to a hospital.
