A West Haven police officer was struck by a Connecticut Transit bus on Thursday morning.
Master Patrolman Vincent Costanzo was struck at Campbell Avenue near Center Street after getting out of his patrol car at 9:36 a.m., police said.
The officer was brought to a nearby hospital to be treated for injuries. He is in stable condition, police said.
No charges have been filed.
Police are investigating.
