Police have identified the victim that was killed in a two car crash that happened on the Wilbur Cross Parkway in Orange Saturday afternoon.
Police said 44-year-old Michael Zawadski of Stratford, died after being struck by a car that lost control.
Police said 21-year-old Taylor Stanford of Milford, was traveling at a high speed in the left lane on Route 15, south of exit 57. She veered left, ran over a curb and lost control of her car and struck Zawadski’s car.
Police said Zawadski’s car rolled over, ejecting him. The car then traveled off the road and came to a stop in an embankment.
Police said Stanford’s car traveled off the roadway and collided with a wire rope guardrail in the right shoulder.
Stanford was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital for non life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing.
