Police are investigating after a body was found in the water in New Haven Tuesday afternoon.
Crews responded to Lighthouse Point Park at about 12:45 p.m. Responding officers said they found a 66-year-old man unresponsive in the water.
The New Haven Underwater Search and Rescue Team responded and recovered the man, identified as Richard Piccione from Woodbridge. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said there wasn't any trauma or signs of foul play. Major Crimes detectives are investigating.
