Saturday Weather Blog

We will have to wait a little while before getting outside on this Saturday. An area of rain will glide across the state this morning...it will be pretty light, with a few moderate showers possible before ending later this morning.

Much of the rain will exit the state by 10 am with a few scattered showers until midday in eastern CT.

Sunny breaks will develop midday from west to east. There is weak cold front that will pass through the region this evening. The front may induce a quick shower to develop, but it shouldn't be very impactful. Temperatures will drop quickly tonight and a gusty breeze will develop. Temps in the 30s, feels-like in the upper 20s??? Is this March?

There will be plenty of sunshine Sunday morning with temps starting off cool in the mid to upper 30s. Clouds look to develop in the afternoon with slightly cooler temps in the upper 50s and low 60s.

Monday and Tuesday look great with seasonable temperatures and a good deal of sunshine. Baseball returns to Hartford with the Yard Goats taking on Portland for their 6-day home stretch. We'll be keeping an eye on the rain chances for Wednesday.
