Kyle Jones

Kyle Jones is the anchor of NBC Connecticut's weekend evening newscasts. During the week, she reports based in New Haven.

Kyle was born in New Haven but grew up in the Maryland suburbs outside of Washington, D.C. She is excited to be back in Connecticut to tell stories that impact people the most.

Prior to joining NBC Connecticut, Kyle has reported along the East Coast at WMDT in Maryland, WMTW in Maine, and WJCL in Georgia. She has covered stories that brought change to her community, including one which led to the firing of a local government official who was charged with stealing cash from the town. Her story on a Portland, Maine woman in desperate need of a kidney also gained national attention.

Before her career in journalism, Kyle spent eight years working in public relations.

In her free time, she enjoys trivia nights, craft breweries, trying out local restaurants and visiting beaches across Connecticut.

Kyle is also a half marathon finisher and took on Maine’s Cancer Foundation's “Tri For a Cure” in memory of her grandmother and aunts. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
