Police identify 2 killed in fiery crash in Burlington

Police have identified two people that were killed in a crash in Burlington last week.

A car was traveling on Johnnycake Mountain Road just after 11 p.m. on Oct. 12 when it veered off the road and hit a mailbox and then a tree, according to state police.

The car caught fire and was engulfed in flames. The driver and a passenger were both pronounced dead at the scene.

State police said 39-year-old Tiffany Cormier and 59-year-old Russell Bunn, both of Bristol, died in the crash.
