A total of five people were transported to the hospital after a crash involving a CT Transit bus in East Haven.
Fire crews said they responded to the report of a motor vehicle accident Sunday morning.
Several units responded to the scene and five individuals were taken to local hospitals for treatment, according to firefighters.
The extent of their injuries are unknown at this time.
