State police said they have responded to 89 crashes with no injuries and 11 with injuries during the storm. They also charged one person with driving under the influence.
Among the crashes was one that closed Interstate 95 South in Darien when a tractor-trailer jackknifed.
The roads remained open through the storm and Gov. Dannel Malloy said he would not be placing a travel ban on the state highways, but that travel would be "treacherous" during the evening commute.
Route 9 North was closed in Haddam after a crash, but it has reopened. State police said a minor injury was reported and the road was closed as emergency responders cleared it.
State police also responded to 1,492 calls for service and 441 driver assists.
