A worker was taken to the hospital after suffering severe electrical burns in North Haven, according to the fire department.
A Tweet from the North Haven Fire Department said firefighters responded to 55 Defco Park Road and they are treating a worker who sustained severe electrical burns after an accident within the building.
North Haven Fire Chief Januszewki said the worker was a contractor and was making repairs and upgrades to the electrical system when the incident occurred.
The patient was taken to the Bridgeport Burn Center and listed in stable condition.
Multiple agencies, including OSHA, are investigating.
