An SUV involved in an accident on Interstate 95 in Waterford on Friday careened off the highway and crashed into a building at a weigh station.
The crash happened just after 11 a.m. at the weigh station on the southbound side of I-95 between exits 82 and 81, according to state police.
The driver, a 27-year-old Lyme man, sideswiped another vehicle and hit the scale house. according to state police.
The vehicle caused heavy damage to the building.
There were no serious injuries, police said.
