East Hartford police arrested a woman they said is an adult escort who got into an altercation with a colleague over money.
East Hartford Police responded to Hartford Plaza Hotel at 11:15 a.m. on Monday to investigate a report of two women being involved in a gun-related incident.
Police said the two women were staying at the hotel together to provide adult escort services and got into a confrontation over money.
The victim told police that Brittany Abosede, 22, assaulted her with a gun and then took a taxi to a bus terminal in New Haven.
Police detained Abosede at a bus terminal in Bridgeport and said she was heading home to Washington, D.C.
They investigated and said there was no evidence that a gun was used.
Abosede was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly and was held on $10,000 bond.
