Shelter-in-place lifted in Trumbull after suspect was caught

Trumbull police have lifted a shelter-in-place for a neighborhood after taking a suspect into custody.

Police asked people to stay away from the Unity Road neighborhood, including Unity Drive, Saybrook Road, Partridge Lane, Windmill Lane and Priscilla Place, as law enforcement from several agencies searched for an armed suspect.

At 1 p.m., police said the suspect was in custody and they had lifted the shelter-in-place.
