A Bridgeport home is destroyed after it was engulfed by a fire Sunday morning.
Firefighters arrived at 520 Wayne Street to find heavy flames on the right side and rear of the building.
No one was injured but "the blaze caused considerable damage," according to Bridgeport police and fire spokesperson Bill Kaempffer.
No one was injured. A resident managed to escape and told firefighters no one else was inside.
Authorities are investigating to determine the cause of the fire.
