A substitute teacher in Bridgeport is accused of sexually assaulting a student in a classroom at Harding High School.
Police say Robert-Seaga Johnson, 43, was arrested at his home on Park Terrace Tuesday morning on an active warrant. Johnson, who worked as a long-term substitute teacher at Harding High School, is accused of sexually assaulting a 17-year-old male student in a classroom in March.
According to police, Johnson is a native of Jamaica and was an employee of Source4Teachers, a New Jersey-based company that contracts substitute teachers to the City of Bridgeport’s Board of Education.
Johnson is charged with 4th-degree sex assault. According to the judicial branch, he is being held on a $75,000 bond expected in court in Bridgeport on August 4.
