A 74-year-old survivor of the tour bus crash in New York City is suing the driver and the bus company.
Yuke Chue Lo, of Manhattan, says driver Ophadell Williams fell asleep and was speeding during the fatal ride home from Mohegan Sun casino. Fifteen people were killed March 12 when the bus flipped over and was ripped apart by a sign pole.
The lawsuit, filed this week in the Bronx, also alleges that World Wide Tours hired inept employees and failed to keep proper records.
Messages left at World Wide Tours and at Williams' home were not immediately answered. Williams has not been charged in the crash.
Lo's lawyer, Andrew Finkelstein, said she suffered a fractured skull and underwent several surgeries. He said she would seek $20 million in damages.
Ophadell Williams spoke to NBC New York this week.
With lawyers by his side, he said "I am having a difficult time breathing."
"I am really hurt about the whole situation," he added, before choking up and heading back inside.
His wife Holly Williams said the crash was "a tragic thing for all parties."
"The families of the victims are hurting," she said. "We are all hurting together."
