A dive team responded to Long Island Sound Friday morning after a boat was found capsized near the break wall in in West Haven and crews have determined that the boat was empty, according to state police.
Officials said someone spotted a capsized 17-foot boat against the break wall the area of April Street and Monahan Place and a search was launched to make sure no one is missing.
Crews determined that the boat was unoccupied and the dive team has cleared the scene, state police said.
