A driver was taken to the hospital after a rollover on the Merritt Parkway in Westport Wednesday morning.
Officials said the Westport Fire Department was called to respond to a crash at 7:55 a.m. They found a vehicle on the embankment close to the North Avenue overpass and the driver trapped inside.
Crews got the driver out of the car around 8:29 a.m. and the person was transported to the hospital.
The southbound side of the Merritt Parkway was closed but has reopened.
