Emergency crews have responded to Sleeping Giant State Park in Hamden to rescue an injured hiker.
Fire officials said a hiker slipped and fell about five feet on the White trail, suffering back injuries.
The fire department responded with ATVs to locate the hiker and transport the victim from the scene.
No additional information was immediately available.
