A gas leak that shut down a busy street in North Haven Wednesday has been repaired.
North Haven police shut down the 200 block of Quinnipiac Avenue because of a gas leak in the area.
They warned drivers about a large traffic backup until the gas company could contain the leak and make the area safe.
Quinnipiac Avenue reopened around 12:30 p.m.
