Authorities are investigating a two-alarm fire that broke out on Mapleshade Road in Middletown on Saturday morning.
Firefighters responded to 595 Mapleshade Road just before 8 a.m., where a fire that started in a shed spread to a detached two-car garage and a couple cars, according to Middletown Fire Capt. Michael Howley.
Mutual aid and tankers were called in from Durham, Portland, Middlefield and Haddam. The house is on a rural road and tankers have been called in since there are no hydrants in the area.
No one was injured in the blaze.
The State Fire Marshal and Middletown Fire Marshal are investigating.
