Foster homes greatly needed to house pets escaping hurricane damage down south

The Connecticut-based Chasing Sunshine Dog Rescue is partnering with a shelter in North Carolina to help bring pets up here so there’s more space to help take in animals after Hurricane Helene. The Connecticut rescue is urging people to open their homes and their hearts to help give pets a safe, temporary home.
