A group of parents were relieved to learn Tuesday full day kindergarten will continue in West Hartford. They were concerned classes would be reduced to a half day, because of budget cuts under consideration.
The Board of Education listened to the parents’ concern and announced their decision at Tuesday night’s meeting. The parents had started a grass roots effort using Facebook to get their message out.
The board did not say where the budget cuts will come from.
