A barn belonging to a Hamden nursery was destroyed by a fire Sunday.
Hamden fire officials said they responded to the fire at the Broken Arrow Nursery Tree Farm, located at 680 Evergreen Avenue, just before 2 p.m. Sunday.
When firefighters arrived on scene they found a fully involved fire being driven by the windy conditions. Trees next to the barn also caught fire due to the wind.
The fire was deemed under control around 2:20 p.m. No injuries were reported, but the barn and its contents were a total loss.
The Hamden Fire Marshal’s office is investigating the cause.
