Hartford police are investigating a shooting in the area of Russ and Babcock streets Tuesday.
Police said officers responded to a Shot Spotter activation in the area of Lawrence Street. During the investigation, they found a man with a gunshot wound near 169 Russ St. The victim, who was shot in the leg, was taken to the hospital for treatment and is currently listed in stable condition.
