A letter Tiffany Webley, acting principal for the Weaver Campus, and Ken O’Brien, Principal of the Kinsella Performing Arts Magnet School, sent to families said school staff were made aware overnight of a post on social media that indicated a potential threat of violence against the school and students for Friday.
As a precaution, school officials conducted a schoolwide safety screening for all students when they arrived.

School officials said additional school safety officers will remain on campus through the end of the day as a precaution.
