Police are investigating a homicide on Florence Street in Hartford.
Officers responded to Florence Street just before 1:15 p.m. for a report of shots fired.
They found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
The man was taken to the hospital, where he died, police said. They later identified the victim as 30-year-old Chevoyia Rivers, of Manchester.

The incident was captured on surveillance camera.
Police said it appears two men got into some kind of altercation on the sidewalk before one of the men opened fire.
Investigators do not have a suspect yet, police said.
