A son stabbed his father to death outside a motel in Hartford Saturday morning, according to police.
Police responded to the motel on Weston Street just after 11 a.m.
The father and son were in a car and got into a dispute, police said.
The son had finished his stay at the hotel and the father was there to pick him up. It's not clear what sparked the dispute, according to police.

Police identified the victim as 78-year-old Vincent Hokim, of Middletown.
The suspect, 49-year-old Raybin Hokim, remained at the scene and was taken into custody. He is cooperating with investigators, police said.
The younger Hokim, a Hartford resident, is charged with murder.

He appeared in court on Monday and bond was set at $2 million.
He is due in court next on Feb. 19.
