House in Granby is ‘uninhabitable,' two firefighters injured after fire

A house in Granby is uninhabitable and two firefighters were injured after a fire on Sunday morning, according to police.

Police responded to a report of a garage fire on Hayfield Lane around 6:45 a.m.

When officers arrived, they said they found a fire that had extended to vehicles in the driveway and into the home.

Two firefighters suffered minor injuries while battling the blaze, fire officials said. No one else was hurt.

The house is currently uninhabitable, police said. Several fire agencies assisted at the scene.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
