A man has died after a serious crash on Interstate 91 North in Wallingford Monday morning.
State police said they responded to the area of exit 13 for a reported crash around 6:45 a.m.
Investigators determined that a car in the right lane crashed into a vehicle, which then spun out and crashed into another car.
The car that caused the crash also spun out and went off the side of the road, crashing into multiple trees before coming to a stop, according to police.

The driver of that car was taken to the hospital and was later pronounced dead. He has been identified as 53-year-old Manuel Benejan, of Wallingford, authorities said.
The highway was closed between exits 12 and 13 but has since reopened.
