A Hartford teen has serious injuries after a crash on Interstate 91 in Hartford on Monday evening, according to state police.
A Hartford teen has serious injuries after a crash on Interstate 91 in Hartford on Monday evening, according to state police.
The crash happened around 6:21 p.m. on I-91 South, near exit 33, and the highway was closed for hours.
State police said an 18-year-old Hartford man was driving a Honda Civic in the center lane, veered left and hit the side of a Nissan Altima and the back of a Chevrolet Equinox, causing that vehicle to hit a Subaru Impreza.
The teen who was driving the Civic suffered life-threatening injuries, according to state police.

The driver of the Equinox suffered minor injuries and was brought to Hartford Hospital.
State police are investigating the crash and witnesses as well as people with video of what happened are asked to contact Trooper Michael Dean at Troop H at 860-534-1098 or michael.dean@ct.gov.
