A man has been taken into custody after an hours-long investigation at a gas station in Wethersfield on Sunday afternoon.
Police said a man had barricaded himself inside the Shell gas station near the Silas Deane Highway on Town Line Road as officers were investigating an assault.
Tactical units and officers from multiple departments were seen at the gas station with some officers working their way up to the roof.
The investigation led to the arrest of a man who is being charged with assault and disorderly conduct.
