A 27-year-old man was found dead on the front stoop of a house in Watertown on Friday morning and the medical examiner will investigate the cause of his death.
Police responded to 23 Slade St. in the Oakville section of Watertown shortly before 8 a.m. after someone who was passing by saw a person on the stoop and called authorities.
"A call was received from a passerby who observed what appeared to be someone sleeping or dead," Deputy Chief Robert Desena said.
Police have identified the deceased man as 27-year-old Tayler Sebring, of Oakville.
The owner of the home where Sebring was found did not know him, according to police.
Detectives responded and investigators said there are no obvious signs of trauma to the body.
The medical examiner’s office will conduct an autopsy and toxicology tests.
