A man has died after a shooting in Hartford Tuesday evening and police have arrested a suspect.
Hartford police said officers were dispatched to a shooting on Garden Street just after 7:15 p.m. Tuesday.
A department spokesperson said 43-year-old Randi Gunn, of Hartford, was discovered unresponsive on-scene with multiple gunshot injuries. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later died, according to police.

Gunn's death is under investigation as the city's 11th homicide of the year. Police noted that this is a significant decline from the 21 homicides recorded in Hartford by this time last year.
Authorities said private footage of the incident appeared to show two people engaging in a loud verbal dispute prior to the shooting.
Hartford police said they found the vehicle used in the homicide in Manchester shortly after the crime. The driver was nearby and police made an arrest.

Arnold Marcus, 53, of Manchester, has been charged with murder and criminal possession of a firearm.
Bond was set at $2 million.
