Mass. Man Sought in Connection With Concord Home Invasion

Julian Field, 24, of Bedford, is wanted on numerous charges including kidnapping and armed assault in a dwelling

Massachusetts police are asking for the public's help in finding a man they say is wanted in connection with an armed home invasion Sunday night in Concord.

Julian Field, 24, of Bedford, is wanted for armed home invasion, kidnapping, armed assault on a person 60 years of age or older, armed assault in a dwelling, and armed burglary with assault on occupants.

Police said a victim called for help at 3:45 a.m. Sunday saying that hours earlier, a man entered his home and held him at knifepoint. That man, identified by police as Field, forced him to drive to locations in western Massachusetts and southern Connecticut.

At about midnight, the suspect got out of the victim's vehicle in New Haven, Connecticut. The victim then drove back to his home in Concord and called police. He was not hurt.

Police said Field had been wanted by Bedford Police earlier Sunday in connection with a disturbance.

Officers recovered a knife from the victim's vehicle but said Field still should be considered armed and dangerous.

An arrest warrant has been obtained for Field's arrest.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Concord Police at 978-318-3400 or the Concord Police Department’s Anonymous Tip Line at 978-318-3407.
